ALL OUT FOR THE NURSES – For Single Payer and for a General Strike
by MBayram_y2k@Yahoo.com | March 2, 2026 | General Strike, Showcase-2, UFCLP Statements, United Front, United States | 0 Comments
The times that we are living in are so dire, given the fascist nature of the federal government, there cannot be a business-as-usual approach to these grave problems. The leadership will not be able to make deals that come even close to what is required to live in NYC. Like in Minneapolis, the NYC working class must organize a general strike and cut our ties with the politicians who can’t deliver on their promises since their job is to guarantee the quiescence of the working class. This is war and therefore we need to organize our siblings and fight for a general strike and end our dependence on the politicians, and we need to organize a labor party that will fight for our interests.

The race to increase military spending goes hand in hand with cuts to social spending and attacks on working conditions and pensions. Several European governments are pushing for the reinstatement of military service, which was met with massive protests and student strikes in Germany, with students declaring: “We don’t want to be cannon fodder.” The shift to the right and advance of fascism promoted by multiple capitalist sectors is not an ideological fad, but is linked to attempts to defeat the working class, destroy its gains, and use it as cannon fodder.
Why We Need A General Strike NOW In 2026
by MBayram_y2k@Yahoo.com | February 11, 2026 | General Strike, Showcase-1, UFCLP Statements | 0 Comments
We need a general strike to help organize a mass democratic workers party that will be a political alternative to the Democrats and Republicans. A general strike can help break the grip of workers and our unions with these two capitalist parties. Our unions continue to support the Democrats and Republicans with millions of union membership funds despite the fact that these parties both support the billionaires and have supported deregulation, privatization, militarization and the destruction of working people of the United States. The Democrats will not stop fascism and only workers organized in our workplaces and in the community have the power. We need to build a national working class united front for a general strike, against fascism and imperialist war and this is a life and death question for working people.

STOP The Wars & Genocide With Mass National General Strike
We need a mass democratic labor party with a program for public control of energy, the banks, airlines, utility, tech and energy. As long as these billionaires are in charge there is no solution to our crisis. The Democrats are no alternative to the Republicans as seen in the case of single payer; that is, the Democrats refuse to support it because they, as well as the Republicans, are controlled by the insurance and hospital industry. The DP is just the other wing of the ruling class. We need to build our own party that will speak for workers. The capitalists have 2 parties, workers need our own.

SHUT ICE Down & STOP Newsom’s Support For ICE Funding
In California, Governor Gavin Newsom is backing up ICE and says that it should not be abolished despite the murder of Renee Good and the terrorism of these goons. The murderous methods of this gestapo opera- tion is also being expanded with the $170 billion passed in Trump’s budget. This is just the beginning.

Unite The Struggle Against US Imperialist Sanctions!
In order to make any shifts in the direction of the American government, we need to support mass labor mobilizations and a general strike against the attack on Venezuela and the attacks on workers at home. We need our own mass democratic working-class party and for our unions to break with the Democrats. The Democrats and Republicans both support the US war machine and have always supported austerity, deregulation, privatization and union busting.

Workers must unite in action on May Day to smash these assaults on our basic human and labor rights. Our unions must use their resources and power for a united fight back with action by the entire working class to bring down this fascist government.
The Democrats are helpubg Trump’s attacks and Democratic Senator and Zionist Schumer just supported a fascist budget plan pushed by Trump and his fascist cronies.
