Enter the parking lot from the 27th street

The City and County of San Francisco is spending hundreds of millions of dollars outsourcing public jobs to consultants, companies, and privately run profits. At the same time, the Mayor and Department of Human Resources DHR has instituted a hiring freeze of permanent employees even before the pandemic.

Workers who have medical exemptions are also being terminated by the City, while the City refuses to have regular testing of all workers in Muni, DPH, and other departments. We demand an end of these retaliatory firings and for the unions to demand that they be halted by workers’ action.
